From: Melissa Chittom, Office Manager, Chiropractic Association of Louisiana
We used Breakthrough Coaching and Aspen Laser on March 13-14, 2021 to host a seminar featuring Breakthrough Coaching, Dr. Morgan Mullican and Aspen Lasers during our 15-hour training. Our doctors were so happy with the lasers and the information received that we actually had a hard time getting them back into the program because they were all grouped around the laser machines and trying out the technique that they were learning. We actually had our doctors staying in class wanting to see what was being presented. As with the other seminars we have had that Debra with Breakthrough helped sponsor and organize, she was so patient and well organized with helping us set up this seminar. We would recommend this seminar to other organizations and think their doctors would find it as informative and interesting as our doctors did.

From: Nancy Ball, Office Manager/Chiro Asst, Family Life Chiropractic & Wellness
My name is Nancy and I have been working alongside Dr. Kris since the practice opened 6 years ago. I have a very caring doctor who definitely goes to the Nth degree to get results for our patients fast. About a year ago, we went to a Breakthrough Coaching seminar where they offered Aspen Laser certification. We have bought lasers in the past and had 2 already, (OneTouch & Erchonia) but did not really know what more this class could teach us, but my Dr. is way up on the scale of doing things right. Just before leaving for the seminar, Dr. Kris had fallen into a doorway and cracked a rib. The trip made it painful, but like I said, she is determined.

The first day of class we looked at the thick manual we were going to have to complete and kind of gulped. The Aspen Certification was not taught by an Aspen employee, in fact, it was a professional who really did not even buy into chiropractic!

This class COMPLETELY changed the way we looked at our laser, how we use our laser and how much more we can explain what the laser does, doesn’t do while really understanding it ourselves! A close friend of Dr. Kris’ had already purchased one of these Class IV lasers and had been treating her with the broken rib to heal faster. On the FIRST DAY of class, we learned “hands-on” that we and our friend has been using it wrong all along. But not just that they “showed” us but gave us the documentation and studies to back up why! My doctor has a laser treatment at the seminar and left the first class PAIN FREE! The next day, the pain seemed to return, but not as badly.

It blew us away that before this class/certification was offered, anybody can buy a tool, but are you using it correctly and to the best of its fiction? Today our office thrives on referrals and besides showcasing our KDT Decompression that has turned dozens of our patients around in care, EVERY patient is offered the first Laser Treatment at no cost to be sure they are a “candidate” and see the amazing results from sometimes in just as little as 5 minutes. We have cared for husky drivers, local firefighters, sweet little grandmas, and busy non-stop parents. The best part of my job is watching patients walk into our clinic shoulders slumped, shuffling, and complaining there is nothing left but to come. After a thorough examination, x rays if medically necessary, even though we do not adjust on their first visit, we do not let even new patients out the door without some pain relief. We go through the consent form and laser literature detailing where the pain is, what the raring is and range of motion scale. In usually 5min. patients stand up after treatments and give you “that look” like “where did the pain go” or they wiggle and dance around with what we have called “The Laser Wiggle”. Most people say they cannot believe it, so just imagine when we return for their ROF how much they are already on-board with a treatment plan!

Initially, I think we thought the class and certification would give us more credibility, but in the end, the class opened our eyes to the science, the “how to”, the “why” and the history of why our Class IV laser is probably the one instrument that has transformed our office, receipts, and patient care. Trust me, once you’ve taken the course, you’ll understand how comprehensive this class is and why you really should all doctors who lasers in their offices to be certified.
